Job Summary

This role will be a key player in establishing a stable and customer service-oriented team that will help deliver business results for AITX. The main focus of the Security Administrator’s role is to oversee and maintain the security of our IT systems and networks. This role is responsible for implementing security protocols, monitoring threats, responding to security incidents, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Strong technical expertise in cybersecurity, risk management, and IT security tools to safeguard our organization's data and infrastructure is required. In addition, this role will assist with both Network and System administration as needed, including : server management, active directory, Microsoft 365, backup & recovery, and other infrastructure related duties.

Job Duties

Security Administration & Compliance

• Design, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, SOC 2).
• Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability scans.
• Develop and enforce access control policies, role-based permissions, and authentication mechanisms.
