Essential Responsibilities/Duties
- Assists in general laboratory maintenance tasks.
- Prepares samples for send out locations for processing.
- Scans requisitions and other documents into Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Ensures all areas are stocked with required materials and PPE. Prepares workstations for sample receipt.
- Complies with lab safety protocols and guidelines.
- Manages the storage of supplies in the lab to meet minimum daily requirements.
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area throughout the facility and work area.
- Education -
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Competencies/Skills -
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentially of all medical, financial, and legal information.
- Ability to work independently.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Experience -
- 0-6 months experience working in a laboratory environment.
- Experience working with MS Office Suite, required.
