What You'll Do
- Be a key contributor to develop roadmaps for new programs including the business case, implementation plans, resourcing, building consensus, prioritization and coordinating communications between cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Coach and develop BA team to improve efficiency, quality, and processes as a team and create personal successes individually.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in requirements gathering and other BA skills, sharing information, trends and lessons learned with the team and others.
- Lead a culture of documentation and compliance – helping the IT organization mature its process management.
- Support multiple product backlog value streams in managing deliverables from kick off through implementation
- Audit BA deliverables and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead as a business process expert and help the BA Team to achieve the same goal.
- Become a Subject Matter Expert with American Integrity product portfolio.
- Partner with matrix managers to access opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Partner with business stakeholders and advise on system solution options, risks, and priorities.
- Communicate effectively with business leaders to guide decision-making on solution options
- Engage appropriate business resources to prioritize projects and update stakeholders on progress toward resolution.
- Coordinate with vendor(s) to ensure proper documentation and priorities are communicated while monitoring progress towards resolution.
- Participate in coordinating business product deliver releases following an Agile methodology and practices.
- Develop new processes and tools to improve transparency and communication across teams and to scale the business.
- Perform resource allocation to meet project milestones. Resources include internal staff and external consultants.
What You'll Need to be a Top Candidate
Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Experience: At least 5-7 Years of technology and/or BA experience. Management experience required. 5-10 years of experience administering a policy administration system from an IT perspective is required. 5 years of Property & Casualty Insurance experience required.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in policy administration system replacement and implementation.
- At least 7 years of experience in ITS related management positions, with a demonstrated record of career advancement as indicated by increasing levels of responsibility.
- Proven track record of leading, mentoring and coaching BAs.
- Extensive insurance industry expertise.
- Functional manager with Agile practice execution expertise.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communicator.
- Proven ability to collaborate across the entire organization with multiple stakeholders.
- Able to manage multiple initiatives in a dynamic customer-facing environment.
