We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and articulate Public Relations Account Executive for our Los Angeles beauty company who is self-motivated and brings positive energy professionalism to our growing marketing team.
The ideal candidate is one whose passion for beauty keeps them up-to-date and tuned into all the latest trends. He or she will serve as a direct contact to our outside PR agency partners and help lead both media and influencer outreach across the company’s beauty division.
This candidate will know all the popular influencers who blog / post videos on YouTube, has a standout Instagram feed and knows the industry’s top beauty editors well enough to get past an assistant to pitch ideas. This candidate will also have a strong track record of securing top-tier placements and fostering relationships with influencers as well as helping ideate across big brainstorms and client strategy.
The ability to interact with staff, clientele, and all external contacts—in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible, proactive, organized, resourceful and efficient —is crucial to this role.
It is also required that candidates hold a keen interest in the beauty industry in which this position centrally operates, as well as beauty, agency, or consumer products industry experience.

Responsibilities :
- Research, prioritize, and assist strategic publicity opportunities
- Bring new and innovating ideas on brand development and advertising on social media platforms
- Assist with events and project launches for company beauty brands
- Manage, implement and measure proactive PR and communications programs across print, web, broadcast and social environments
- Perform frontline communications for internal teams with trade and consumer media
- Deliver information to editors, bloggers, and other media professionals in a compelling and memorable way to get the maximum coverage for each brand
- Work to ensure media placements increase and reflect accurate message pull through and brand POV
