Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Receiver Non-Ferrous with experience for our Bangor, Maine location. Under the supervision of the Yard Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the general maintenance of the premises.
- Receiving, sorting and organizing different types of non-ferrous metals
- Classify the non-ferrous and establish the type of material
- Properly weigh and track the material
- Do general maintenance of the premises
- Ensure the equipment in good condition
- Data entry into the in-house receiving software
- Provide excellent customer service
- Help with torch cutting if necessary
- Preparing shipments and receiving equipment using forklift as required
- Work with a safety oriented mindset
Qualifications
- Experience in operating a forklift
- Experience in metal recycling
- Experience with computer software and Microsoft office suite
- Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
- Customer Service experience in a retail preferred
- Ability to work as a team
- Excellent attendance and safety record.

Additional Information:
- Permanent and full-time position;
- 40 hours per week, including some rotating weekend work
- Opportunity for overtime;
