Our client is seeking a bilingual, skilled and experienced Owner’s Representative – Construction Project Manager to oversee the development of a high-profile airport terminal project. This role is essential in ensuring the client’s interests are fully represented throughout all phases of the project — from pre-construction planning through final delivery.
You’ll coordinate with design teams, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of construction projects from planning, bidding, and permitting through execution, completion, and close-out.
- Lead Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI) processes, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timely responses.
- Coordinate and manage relationships with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors.
- Maintain a working knowledge of local contractors and provide reliable references and recommendations based on project scope and complexity.
- Ensure compliance with local permitting and regulatory requirements across all project phases.
- Create, monitor, and manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines, ensuring projects stay on track and within financial targets.
- Prepare and deliver regular project updates and reports to senior leadership and the board.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional internal teams and external partners to meet performance standards and project milestones.
- Identify potential risks or delays early and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
- Utilize tools like Excel and project management software to track progress, budgets, schedules, and communications.
Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in construction project management or owner’s representation, preferably on infrastructure, aviation, or large-scale public/private projects.
- Strong understanding of RFP/RFI development, permitting, contract negotiation, and construction documentation.
- Proven track record overseeing complex projects from concept to completion.
- Familiarity with local contractors and vendors, with the ability to evaluate and recommend project-specific resources.
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to present to boards, executive stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and construction/project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred.
