What are the responsibilities and job description for the Doggie Daycare & Kennel Attendant position at American k9 Country?
Applicant MUST have prior professional Animal Care Experience, or a lifelong dedication to animals & their care
Duties & Attributes required for our positions include but are not limited to:
- Doggie Daycare supervision of groups, cleaning kennels, feeding, medications, answering phones, using the database
- Attention to detail and making all pet guests & clients top priority
- Lots of Cleaning
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- "Can-Do" attitude: Eager to do whatever is needed to help keep our facility the best it can be
- Must be a TEAM player and willing to fill in whenever & where ever needed,
- *Applicant May cross train for other positions such as :Pool Lifeguard, Office staff, Front desk reception
- Must come to work On Time- All the Time
- Must possess drama-free, calm demeanor and caring approach with all animals.
- Be in good physical condition (animal care can be very physical)
- Be willing to work in various outdoor weather conditions (rain, heat, etc)
- Must Be passionate about animals and put them as a priority
- Have valid driver’s license &/or reliable transportation
- Be able to work independently &/or with a Team
- Be capable of handling and controlling a variety of breeds, small and large
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to Muli-task
- Good written/verbal communication
- Ability to be on feet all day & wear appropriate clothing & footwear
- Ability to run/move/react quickly
- Must be available to work any day, including holidays, weekends and possibly overnights.
- Willing to commit to a minimum of 12 months to the position
American k9 Country is Open 365 days a year

Applicant will be required to work "some" weekend & holidays
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
