Job Posting: Warehouse Associate
Are you detail-oriented, dependable, and ready to be a vital part of a fast-paced warehouse environment? We’re seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team and ensure the smooth flow of incoming and outgoing shipments. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in maintaining an efficient operation while collaborating with various departments to meet our goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process and document all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Use shipping software to generate domestic and international shipping paperwork.
- Assemble and prepare orders for shipment.
- Receive, inspect, unpack, and store incoming materials and supplies.
- Verify the accuracy of shipments and orders using shipping records.
- Document damages or discrepancies for reimbursement and reconciliation purposes.
- Generate and complete detailed shipping and receiving reports.
- Collect and maintain shipping data to support warehouse activities.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred
- 5 years of general work experience.
- Familiarity with shipping procedures, shipping software and overnight & freight shipping is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and handle challenges effectively.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work under immediate supervision.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.
- Experience with software including but not limited to FedX, UPS, Starship, DXL, XPO
