What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at American LandMaster?
You will be a critical team member ensuring that LandMaster UTVs are built and shipped successfully – meeting our unwavering commitment to quality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Examine vehicles at various stages of assembly to ensure the standards of quality are met.
- Examine materials from suppliers before sending them to the production line.
- Inspect components, subassemblies, and assemblies.
- Perform visual and functional inspections.
- Perform complex tests using instruments and equipment.
- Must be willing to rotate between all inspection stations.
- Produce detailed reports.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Proven experience as a quality inspector or ability to demonstrate inspection knowledge.
- Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.
- Experience with Weld Inspection a plus.
- Ability to use various assembly tools including power drills, impact guns, and standard hand tools.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent eye-hand coordination.
- Must be able to identify and measure material and perform simple math.
PHYSICAL DEMAND:
The employee must regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to be in contact with flashing lights.
EDUCATION (OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE):
- Minimum of 1 years of related quality inspection experience.
- Familiar with quality management systems
