Position Overview: Plant Health Care Technician
We are offering a signing bonus of up to $500.00!
Top pay will commiserate experience and qualifications starting at $23.00/hour
American Landscape is seeking an individual who is hard working and interested in taking on a challenging role in our Lawn & Tree Care Division. This individual needs to be self-motivated and able to work well independently to provide a high-quality service. The position requires a Driver’s License and clean driving record, and a 3.0 pesticide applicator’s license.
- Report to work at scheduled starting time and provide a professional appearance.
- Act professional when speaking to clients
- Keep work area clean and professional looking which includes vehicle, office area, and shop.
- Communicate with and educate our clients when necessary as to the diagnosis and recommended treatments for their plants/trees/shrubs
- Perform PHC applications according to best industry practices
- Perform herbicide applications
- Perform lawn care applications as needed
- Monitor all equipment for maintenance
- Work during the winter season in our snow operations.
Qualifications:
- Job type – Full Time
- Must have 3.0 Wisconsin Applicator Certification.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Ability to identify plants/trees/shrubs as well as diagnose insect, fungal, and abiotic issues
