Essential Duties
Strategic Business Partnership:
- Act as a trusted advisor to regional leadership, contributing to business planning and decision-making by providing data-driven HR insights and recommendations.
- Align HR strategies with operational goals, ensuring workforce plans support business growth, seasonal demands, and acquisition integrations.
- Serve as a cultural ambassador, fostering alignment with company values and promoting a high-performance, people-centric environment.
- Partner with leadership to build, scale, and continuously enhance the HR function to meet evolving business needs.
- Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant resolutions.
- Build trust with frontline employees, supervisors, and managers by being present, approachable, and responsive to workforce needs.
- Proactively address morale, engagement, and retention challenges, implementing creative solutions tailored to regional and seasonal dynamics.
- Reinforce company culture through thoughtful engagement initiatives that connect employees to the organization's mission and values.
- Partner with leaders to identify high-potential talent and create individualized development plans that support career progression and future leadership needs.
- Facilitate leadership training and coaching, ensuring managers are equipped to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and performance improvement plans.
- Design and implement talent development programs tailored to support the company's growth and evolving organizational structure.
- Collaborate with regional leadership and talent acquisition teams to ensure staffing strategies meet year-round and seasonal operational needs.
- Oversee regional workforce planning, balancing labor demands with cost management and productivity goals.
- Develop and refine seasonal staffing plans, ensuring rapid, scalable hiring and onboarding processes that minimize disruption.
- Implement innovative recruitment and onboarding initiatives that enhance the employee experience and accelerate productivity.
- Serve as the go-to HR resource for day-to-day operational needs, including coaching managers on disciplinary actions, performance challenges, and team dynamics.
- Ensure HR policies, practices, and procedures are compliant with state and federal regulations across all covered regions.
- Monitor and analyze key HR metrics (e.g., turnover, engagement, time-to-fill) to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
- Drive the development and implementation of HR programs that support organizational objectives, from performance management to employee wellness.
- Leverage Paylocity for HR data management, reporting, and analytics to guide workforce decisions.
- Support process improvement initiatives related to HR operations, systems, and integrations.
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance, supporting HR reporting and audits as needed.
- Lead HR-related change initiatives tied to growth, acquisitions, and seasonal fluctuations, ensuring smooth transitions and high employee engagement.
- Tailor communication strategies to resonate with diverse audiences, from frontline teams to senior leadership.
- Support integration efforts, helping newly acquired businesses align with company culture, policies, and systems.
- Champion changes by promoting transparency, engagement, and adaptability during business transitions.
- 5 years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in a fast-paced, multi-state environment.
- Proven experience balancing strategic planning with tactical, day-to-day HR operations.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, talent development, workforce planning, and change management.
- Experience managing seasonal staffing and rapid workforce scaling.
- Demonstrated success in building trust and influencing leaders at all levels.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency with Paylocity or similar HRIS platforms.
- EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) experience preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
- Willingness to travel regionally as needed.
