JOB TITLE: CAD Technician / Furniture Manufacturing
DEPARTMENT: Cutting
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
LOCATION: PLANT 3
SCHEDULE: 10 hour days, M -Th 6 am – 4:30 pm, Some F 6 am – 10 am
Overtime may be required beyond the posted work schedule and may vary on a weekly basis

Overview of Responsibilities:
CAD Tech’s will lay parts and pieces of the pattern to make the different variances for the fabric size, design, etc., to get the best yield and layout of the fabric for the cutting operators to be able to use to cut material specific to customers’ orders.
- Marker quality and quantity
- Verify accuracy of geometric shapes, details and parts on system
- General full-size patterns on Okidata printer
- Able to measure and recognize fabric repeats
- PC Experience and working knowledge of Excel and Word
- Quality minded – Stay Focused and able to multi-task
- Detailed-Organized-able to take notes for referral
- Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- LECTRA and hand cutting experience a plus
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of Furniture CAD required Formaris and Diaminio
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- LEAN Manufacturing experience a plus
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to deliver uncompromising quality and detailed craftsmanship
- Ability to work full-time
- Must be flexible to work overtime when required
- Able to stand for 10 hours
- Able to use hand tools/air tools/staple gun for 8 hours
