What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabric Cutter position at American Leather Operations LLC?
JOB TITLE: Fabric Cutter
DEPARTMENT: Cutting
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Sewing and Cutting Supervisor
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cut various fabrics in single and multiple piles on cutting tables with manual and electric cutting equipment.
- Organized and can prioritize cutting according to needs of the production team
- Apply patterns, mark and cut various shapes using a straight knife or a round knife
- Maintaining tools in working condition (scissors, tape measure, etc)
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Attention to detail is a must
- CAD experience /knowledge is a plus
- LECTRA experience/knowledge is a plus
- Candidate must have cutting experience.
- All other Duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to deliver uncompromising quality and detailed craftsmanship
EFFORT
- Able to lift at least 50-60 lbs
- Able to stand for 8 hours
