JOB TITLE: Packing Set Up Person
DEPARTMENT: Packing
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
SCHEDULE: Monday Thursday 6:00 am – 4:30 pm & Friday 6:00 am – 12:00 pm
Overtime may be required beyond the posted work schedule and may vary on a weekly basis

SUMMARY
Packing furniture based on the customers' orders and production schedule.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pack furniture for shipment
- Keep a clean and safe working environment.
- Shrink wrap, build trays, carton furniture.
- Pull all required materials in each package.
- Scan tickets for accurate shipment tracking
- All other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Previous warehouse or shipping experience is a plus.
- Furniture manufacturing knowledge is a plus.
- AS400 and basic computer skills
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work full time.
- Able to work with other associates on a team production incentive.
- Able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
EFFORT
- Product may weigh up to 300 pounds. Moving and lifting of these products will involve assistance from other associates and/or lifting equipment.
- Lifting product from floor to buggy and buggy to tray
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Able to use equipment such as electric pallet jack, hand trucks/dollies & heat gun for shrink wrapping.
