Job Description

As a Liaison - Global Education you will be responsible for application, implementation/facilitation, and evaluation/continuous improvement of Global Scholars Program and other education initiatives. Synthesize information and feedback from multiple sources into curriculum and helps define comprehensive learning strategies and improve effectiveness of Global training programs.
Essential Job Functions
1. Use a high degree of concentration and professional knowledge to serve as the education team lead for Global Scholars Program: needs analysis/planning, implementation/facilitation, and evaluation/ continuous improvement of training and education.
2. Collaborates with Global regional staff on region- and foundation-specific needs to customize Scholars program whenever possible. Works closely with Legal on candidate and foundation vetting process.
3. Partners with Subject Matters Experts across the enterprise to share their knowledge and expertise. Educates SMEs on learning and development strategies that increase effectiveness of training implementations to ensure that there is alignment of expectations. Ensures SMEs are prepared to work with foundations from LMICs and can scale their knowledge to make relevant for foundations of various capacities.
4. Identifies third-party vendors who can provide additional structured certificate learning.
5. Facilitates weekly Scholars calls during program, including encouraging active engagement of participants and following-up on assignments, all while understanding and respecting various languages, cultures and needs.
6. Serves as primary point of contact for all Global Scholars participants and proactively communicates regularly.
7. Supports all other Global Education initiatives, leading where needed.
Requirements:
- Requires knowledge and application of adult education best practices.
- Strong ability to create dynamic, eye-opening, highly interactive, and fun educational experiences to optimize learning.
- Excellent communication, platform, and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management.
- Must have analytical abilities in order to evaluate programs for impact and effectiveness.
- Knowledge and skill of coaching practices and performance improvement planning.
- Thorough knowledge of project management, logistics, and general management methods.
- Speak and write in a clear and understandable manner for internal/external relations.
- Understand extremely complex verbal or written instructions.
- Understand data processing applications.
- Experience using Microsoft Office products, SharePoint, and content management systems.
- Knowledge ordinarily acquired through a bachelor’s degree plus 4-6 plus years of experience in the field of education, organizational development, project management, coordination, operations, corporate training, adult learning, instructional design, and/or fundraising or marketing/sales.
This position will be eligible for a hybrid work schedule and be based at our National Executive Office in Memphis, TN.
