Job Description: We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Bilingual Donor Relations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and developing relationships through various channels (including but not limited to phone, email, chat, text, and social media) with individuals, businesses, and organizations in support of our mission. This position requires fluency in both English and Spanish.
Essential Job Functions:
- Build and develop relationships with volunteer coordinators and donors through various communication channels, including inbound/outbound phone calls, emails, chat, and text.
- Provide support to volunteer coordinators and donors, using independent judgment to reschedule calls and send email communications as needed.
- Engage donors through active communication, quickly building rapport and anticipating their needs.
- Educate and train donors and volunteers on fundraising campaigns and events.
- Assist with marketing research projects and document feedback from volunteers and donors.
- Monitor feedback trends and report to leadership, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Research information to assist donors and volunteers, manage email inboxes, and troubleshoot online and offline fundraising channels.
- Participate in daily Enterprise Contact Center operations, which may require additional work shifts outside of scheduled work hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Job Requirements:
- Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in both written and oral English and Spanish.
- Proficiency in compiling and responding to emails, chats, and texts.
- Ability to listen, understand, and accurately input information into various software programs.
- Proven ability to build relationships using excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills, call center data entry, and knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Knowledge of internet-based applications and mainstream social media products such as Twitter, Facebook, and Skype.
- Ability to use call center telephony systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 1 year of sales, customer service, or call center experience.
