- Experience in facilities coordination, maintenance, or property management.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, safety regulations, and maintenance best practices.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with OSHA, fire safety, and workplace security protocols is a plus.
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Facilities Coordinator to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our facility. This role is responsible for coordinating building services, ensuring a safe and functional work environment, managing vendor relationships, and assisting with facility-related projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance and repairs of the facility, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, security, and janitorial services.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Monitor building systems and ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
- Manage facility-related requests, track work orders, and follow up on outstanding maintenance issues.
- Assist with space planning, office moves, and furniture arrangements.
- Maintain inventory of office and maintenance supplies; coordinate orders as needed.
- Ensure a safe work environment by supporting OSHA compliance, fire safety procedures, and emergency preparedness.
- Support budget management, including vendor invoicing and cost control for facility-related expenses.
- Maintain accurate records of facility operations, maintenance schedules, and compliance documentation.
- Assist with special projects related to office expansions, renovations, and sustainability initiatives.
