Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and restaurant management, ensuring exceptional service and a high-quality experience for our guests. The Bar Manager will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining inventory, and creating innovative drink menus while upholding the standards of fine dining.
Must be able to pass background check.
Ramp/Servesafe certification or willing to get within one month of hire.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the bar team, providing training and support to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
- Develop and implement creative cocktail menus that align with seasonal trends and customer preferences.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies, tracking usage, and minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen management to coordinate food and beverage pairings that enhance the dining experience.
- Manage shift operations, ensuring smooth service flow during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development among staff members.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven experience in bar management.
- Strong knowledge of food production, hospitality management, and kitchen management principles.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Ability to manage shifts efficiently while maintaining high standards of service quality.
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and best practices in a restaurant environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of bar operations.
