Bar Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Bar Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bar/kitchen management, with a passion for providing exceptional service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for managing the bar staff, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and maintaining budgetary goals while delivering high-quality beverages and service.

Duties

• Supervise and train bar staff to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to company standards.
• Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock to meet demand.
• Develop and implement creative drink menus that align with current trends and customer preferences.
• Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate food preparation and service during busy periods.
• Monitor budgeting practices to optimize profitability while maintaining quality service.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.

Requirements

• Proven experience in bar management or a similar role within the bar industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and practices related to beverage service.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Proficient in budgeting and financial management within a restaurant or bar setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with staff and customers.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
