What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at American Legion Salisbury Md?
We are looking for an experienced bartender to provide customer service to our military clients membership only club. Must be current tip trained and have at least 2 years of bartending experience
Performance
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Knowledge of preparing of specialized drinks
- present bar menu and light cooking
- ID check experience
- Stocking inventory
- Stay guest focused and maintain excellent guest experience
- Comply with state and county food/beverage regulations
- follow policies and procedures set by the American Legion Commander
- Nights, weekends and holidays required
- dress code compliant
Skills
- knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving alcohol drinks
- Positive attitude and excellent customer service
- ability to keep the bar clean , organized and stocked
- time management skills
- relevant training certificate, tips training required
- preform ID checks
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Reliable and dependable, vehicle required
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Know your way around commercial kitchen
- Good communication skills
Physical Demands:
- ability to wipe down tables, pick up debris off the floor and wipe down bar and bar stools.
- transports plates, glasses and baskets to and from the kitchen
- Mobility required during entire shift and able to stand for long hours.
- Be able to keep up a fast paced environment
- Frequent immersion of hands in water
- Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and others.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 10 per week
