What are the responsibilities and job description for the Evening Shift Dispatcher position at American Limousines, Inc.?

EXPERIENCED Evening Shift Dispatcher

2 : 30pm - 11 : 00 pm Saturday night - Wednesday night

Experienced Evening Shift Dispatcher needed to handle evening transportation needs for busy upscale transportation company located in East Baltimore. (MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 1 YEAR DISPATCH EXPERIENCE)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Receiving and dispatching drivers to fulfill specified customer requests.
Addressing problems with a sense of urgency and a high level of solution based customer service.
Monitoring routes and the status of drivers to coordinate and prioritize schedules.
Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance.
Updating customers with the appropriate information regarding passengers, traffic, and other requests.

Applicants should also have :

Good general working knowledge of the Baltimore - Metropolitan area and surrounding airports.

The ability to multitask in high demand environments and must be able to work independently .

The ability to maintain a level of professionalism while handling high call volumes .

Good computer skills.

1 solid year of demonstrated dispatching experience.
