In this role, you will be at the center of revolutionizing how healthcare transportation data flows securely and efficiently. Your mission is to build, maintain, and optimize EDI solutions that ensure seamless communication between internal teams and external partners, directly improving service delivery and compliance.
Your expertise will enhance automation, reduce errors, and optimize data exchange, making a tangible impact on operational efficiency and benefiting the lives of thousands of real people on a daily basis.
In the first 90 days, you will conquer the following :
30-Day Goal : Learn & Document Boomi EDI Processes
Outcome : Build foundational knowledge to minimize errors and improve efficiency.
- Review & Document 5 Boomi workflows for eligibility, claims, and billing.
- Attend 4 knowledge transfer sessions and complete 3 test transactions.
- Simulate a mock EDI upload with 90% success.
- Identify 3 pain points and document key process gaps.
60-Day Goal : Independently Process & Troubleshoot EDI Files
Outcome : Ensure timely, accurate data exchange without reliance on senior team members.
90-Day Goal : Optimize & Automate Boomi EDI Workflows
Outcome : Increase efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance accuracy.
Soft Skills : Your excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills will enable you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure data accuracy and timely transmission, while your leadership qualities will guide junior team members and drive integration projects to successful completion.
Technical Skills : You bring proven experience in EDI development and support within the healthcare industry, with expertise in Boomi and other modern integration tools. Your strong knowledge of healthcare data standards, including HL7, X12, and FHIR, combined with proficiency in SQL and database management, will be essential in designing and maintaining our EDI solutions. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, standard database ETL processes, data analytics, and scripting languages such as PowerShell, C#, and Python will further enhance your effectiveness in this role.
Periodic mandatory team meetings will be held on-site at our offices in Utah.
You must physically reside in the United States with preference given to western states.
