Current State of Utah Pest Control Applicators License with Turf and Ornamental and Structural endorsements required; however, for those with previous experience that can quickly obtain licenses exceptions will be made.
Must have a current driver's license and able to pass a drug test. Must be eligible to be on company car insurance as well as obtain a DOT card if required.
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pest Control Spray Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying pest control treatments and conducting inspections to ensure effective pest management solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of pest control products and safety protocols. Duties include completion of scheduled service on both residential and commercial properties. Services may include the application of fertilizer, weed control, sterilant, tree oils, and pest control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain spray equipment, including backpack sprayers, foggers, and other pest control application tools.
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations and assess treatment needs.
- Mix and apply pest control chemicals according to safety guidelines and environmental regulations.
- Communicate treatment plans and preventative measures to clients, providing education on pest management.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure the protection of clients, property, and the environment.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments performed, products used, and client interactions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and effective pest control services.
- Stay updated on industry trends, pest control techniques, and safety regulations.
- Light landscaping
- Snow Removal in the winter months
Wage based on experience and current licenses.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience
