Proposal Development Manager
Manages the entire proposal operations including proposal staff selection, training, and daily management. Establish a corporate proposal process with continuous process improvements, to ensure corporate win rates and improved proposal outputs. Institutes corporate-wide proposal training to ensure all staff are trained in process to support BD goals and Corporate financial targets. As a key member of the corporate staff, willing to assume other responsibilities to support corporate goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manages the entire proposal operations, including staff selection, training, and daily management.
• Develops and implements a corporate proposal process with continuous process improvements to ensure corporate win rates and improved proposal outputs.
• Institutes corporate-wide proposal training to ensure all staff are trained in process to support business development (BD) goals and corporate financial targets.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and subject matter experts, to develop winning proposals.
• Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of the company's products, services, and value proposition to effectively communicate them in proposals.
• Coordinates and attends review meetings to ensure high-quality proposals are delivered on time and within budget.
• Plans and schedules accordingly to ensure deadlines are met.
Requirements:
• Associate degree in Business Management, Business Administration or other discipline is required; BS/BA degree is strongly desired.
• APMP certification is required.
• Ten (10) or more years of business development experience is required for this position. Other combinations of business development experience will be considered at the discretion of Human Resources and Business Development Management.
• Proficient using CRM tools, SharePoint, Visual Thread, Document Management, MS Office Suite, and graphics generation.
