Job Description:

As an Electrical Technician at AMAC, you will play a critical role in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems for our mobile equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring that all wiring, harness building, and system installations meet our stringent quality and safety standards. This position requires a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who excels in troubleshooting and solving electrical-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:     

•     Wire electrical panels and components following detailed schematics and diagrams.     

•     Build, install, and test wiring harnesses for mobile equipment.    

•     Install electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and communication systems on mobile equipment.    

•     Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.       •     Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to ensure systems are integrated seamlessly into equipment.     

•     Follow industry standards, safety protocols, and company procedures.     

•     Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.     

•     Document all work performed, including wiring layouts and troubleshooting logs.     

•     Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians or apprentices as required.

Qualifications:     

•     High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical systems is preferred.     

•     Proven experience in electrical panel wiring, harness building, and system installation, particularly in mobile or heavy equipment.     

•     Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components.     

•     Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.     

•     Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and hand tools.     

•     Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.     

•     Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.     

•     Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in electrical work.     

•     Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
