Job Title: Digital Marketing District Sales Manager
Reports to: Senior Vice-President of Sales, Central Region

We seek a talented, passionate leader - a sales person at heart who wants to begin or advance a career in sales leadership to help us develop a new digital market within our 12 state footprint. This highly influential and inspirational leadership role is responsible for building a rapidly growing team of high-energy, elite sales representatives while maintaining the Company’s standards for sale performance with regard to both individual sales productivity and territory construction.
Responsibilities:
· Follow established AMP best practices to identify leads and demonstrate new sales through cold-calling and other established sales methods to (a) initially master the sale and develop true subject matter expertise in making it; and (b) regularly and continually lead the team from the ‘front lines’ in making sales personally
· Consistently conduct job shadowing days and final interviews for job candidates who are considering joining the team.
· Train and develop up to 15 entry level sales professionals to effectively acquire new accounts and achieve company objectives by (a) providing consistent direction, coaching, and feedback on the technique, sales activity, and achieved outcomes of sales reps; (b) consistently demonstrating the work successfully during one on one trainings; (c) maintaining minimum standards of performance via Performance Improvement Plans or disciplinary action; (d) provide recognition, appreciation and further motivation to top team members.
· Closely and proactively manage Key Performance Indicators for all managed sales personnel to achieve territory profit, growth and customer acquisition objectives
- Work closely with corporate Recruiting, HR, Training and Operations managers in general communication and supervisory functions to equitably administer all Company policies in accordance with our Corporate Standards
· Support a fun, positive, hard-working work culture, leading by example
Functional Demands:
- The position requires the employee to drive up to 2 hours from their home to the assigned geographic territory. In special circumstances, the employee may be asked to make a further drive for a defined period of time.
- The employee will be required to drive throughout established sales hours to meet with sales representatives. Sales hours are typically from 8:00am until 5:30pm, Monday through Friday, although certain days of the week require longer hours. Intermittent driving, depending on the proximity of the customer base in the area, will take place during these hours.
- Capacity required to train sales representatives in the field via rapid in-person cold calling on 30 or more business locations up to 4 days per week.
- Frequent exiting of personal vehicle and making frequent stops, is required when meeting sales representatives in their assigned geographic territory.
- Walking and standing for prolonged periods of time and climbing up and down occasional flights of stairs, sometimes in inclement weather, carrying approximately 5 lbs of sales materials, are required.
- Ability to open and close doors to the entrances of targeted businesses in assigned geographic territories is required to perform the essential functions of this position.
Requirements:
· Proven team building and revenue-growing sales management experience and a track record as a consistent top new business acquisition sales leader, either in business-to-business or business-to-consumer inside sales.
· Enthusiasm for personally making sales, and the ability to mentor sales reps by working alongside them successfully
· Exceptional presentation and closing skills.
· Hardworking, persistent, and dependable.
· Positive and enthusiastic
· Strong written and verbal leadership communication skills; Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively; Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
· Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
