Responsibilities of the Administrator:
- Ensuring the nursing home follows code requirements, and explaining policies and regulations to staff, residents, and visitors.
- Manage the development and implementation of departmental policies and establish rapport with and between departments so they can each see the importance of their contributions to the facility.
- Prepare clear and concise oral and written reports.
Qualifications of the Administrator:
- Must have Delaware Administrator license
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of current Nursing Home Administrator experience
- Must have experience in long-term care
- Must be a self-starter and energetic
- Ability to effectively communicate, direct, and delegate tasks
- Strong leadership and managerial skills in healthcare setting
