Responsibilities of the Assistant Director of Nursing:
- Assist in supervising nursing staff in the facility
- Assist in development and implementation of nursing policy and procedure
- Ensuring there is adequate nursing staff, and that the staff's skills remain current/educating nursing staff
- Being knowledgeable of incidents at the facility
- Assessing the health needs of each resident
Qualifications:
Must have current Florida RN license
Must have nurse management experience in long-term care
Must have strong leadership and management skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
