Qualifications:

• • Must have at least one year of experience as a Bookkeeper in a nursing home setting
• • Must have payroll and bookkeeping experience
• • Must have nursing home/long term care experience
• • Must be familiar with PointClickCare
• • Must have experience managing insurance billing, overseeing residents’ accounts, performing bank reconciliations and processing insurance authorizations
• • Strong attention to details and ability to multi-task
• • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Process payroll, vendor payments, and bank reconciliations
• Coordinate with billing and insurance teams
• Investigate and resolve claim denials
• Maintain financial records
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies
• Provide administrative support
