Qualifications:
- Must have at least one year of experience as a Bookkeeper in a nursing home setting
- Must have payroll and bookkeeping experience
- Must have nursing home/long term care experience
- Must be familiar with PointClickCare
- Must have experience managing insurance billing, overseeing residents’ accounts, performing bank reconciliations and processing insurance authorizations
- Strong attention to details and ability to multi-task
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Process payroll, vendor payments, and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate with billing and insurance teams
- Investigate and resolve claim denials
- Maintain financial records
- Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies
- Provide administrative support
