Responsibilities of the Director of Social Work-Nursing Home:
- Plans and directs a comprehensive social services program which provides support services for residents and families.
- Responsible for coordinating all admissions and discharges to ensure facility census is kept at its maximum capacity.
- Participates in an interdisciplinary team approach to better serve the needs of the facility population.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must have BSW or MSW
- Must have prior social work experience in long term care
- Must have long term care experience
- Strong Skillset: Exhibit strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Compassion: Demonstrate a deep dedication to improving the lives of elderly individuals.
