Seeking An Experienced Staff Social Worker- LTC

Located in Far Rockaway, NY

  • SALARY- $55K to $70K per year (depending on experience)

A long term care facility located in Far Rockaway, NY is seeking a strong Staff Social Worker. They are seeking an experienced social worker with long term care / nursing home experience to join their dynamic team of professionals.

Job Description :

  • Assist new residents and their family in the initial adjustment phase, as well as in the ongoing transition to institutional living
  • Provide information to the resident, and / or family member, on residents' rights and responsibilities

    • Qualifications : Must have BSW or MSW

    Must have experience as a Staff Social Worker

    Must have long term care / nursing home experience

    Must have excellent outreach, assessment, written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must be able to work effectively as a team.
