Qualifications of the Unit Manager:
- Must have NY Registered Nurse license
- Must have previous experience as a Unit Manager
- Must have long term care experience
- Must have nurse management experience/background
Responsibilities of the Unit Manager:
- Assist with patient’s examinations and/or questions.
- Implement and interpret organizational policies and procedures, and nursing standards and regulations.
- Assists with preparing the departmental fiscal budget.
