Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Volunteers to join our team. Duties can include:
Companionship: Provide friendly visits, engage in conversation, and offer a supportive presence to patients.
Respite Care: Offer relief to primary caregivers by providing short-term assistance and companionship to patients.
Art and Music: Share your artistic or musical talents to bring moments of joy and creativity to those in our care.
Telephone Support: Make regular phone calls to offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
Bereavement Support: Assist in providing grief support to families during and after the loss of a loved one.
Requirements
- Previous experience in patient care or social work is preferred but not mandatory.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- A caring attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn are essential.
- Must be able to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
