Position: Certified Medical Assistant
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to medical staff and help ensure the smooth operation of our medical facility.
Duties:
- Assist healthcare providers in patient care under physician supervision
- Perform and record vital signs accurately
- Administer medications as directed
- Conduct patient intake, including medical history and reason for visit
- Provide administrative support: scheduling appointments, maintaining records
- Support patients with inhalation treatments and other procedures
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
- Proficiency in coding and medical terminology
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting (preferred)
- Skilled in medication administration and taking vital signs
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-focused approach
