Medical Scribe/Medical Assistant

Responsibilities:

Patient intake –vitals, full history and current complaints/reason for visit

Check to ensure paper chart is abstracted into eCW

Review of medications/reconciliation – outlined for provider

Update/check to ensure current pharmacy information is correct

Scribing of patient history, physical and assessment in eCW

Check out patient and ensure that follow up appointment is made if necessary

Must be willing to travel to SNF facilities with provider when necessary.

Tee-up all orders for labs/testing in eCW /pre-certs/authorizations
- Assist providers in delivering patient care and treatment
- Perform basic medical procedures, including injections
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urinalysis and blood glucose monitoring
- Assist with patient education and counseling
- Provide medical administrative support, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records

Requirements:
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Proficiency in medication administration techniques
- Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
- Experience with coding and billing processes
- Knowledge of bone density procedures and equipment operation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide exceptional patient service in a compassionate manner

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
