We’re hiring a Vehicle Service Technician (VST) Lead responsible for ensuring that all ambulances are ‘response ready’ for field crews coming in for their shift assignment, with the goal of reducing down time and increasing the quality and delivery of our services to the crews and our patients. The delivered product is a clean vehicle inside and out with well stocked shelves and functioning equipment. It is important that the product produced is maintained to the highest standard.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct staff effectively and oversee field operations; this includes performing support activities including but not limited to problem-solving, daily scheduling and providing guidance/coaching to support employees.
- Manage daily vehicle inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log and place replacement requests when necessary.
- Run regular mechanical checks including oil, washer fluid and batteries, and report any vehicle issues to the Fleet Manager as needed.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must be able to drive an ambulance and have a driving record in compliance with AMR policy regarding insurability
- Basic computer proficiency to include MS office
- Knowledge of scheduling procedures or software
- Supervisory/management skills

- Basic computer proficiency
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
