We’re hiring Deployment/Event EMTs to deliver high-quality patient care and customer service to event guests, venue, event staff, local partners, and wildland teams at special events and deployments in fixed and temporary venues.

Responsibilities
- Ensures that event activities are aligned with GMR goals and strategic plan.
- Deliver on-site ALS level care in accordance with all applicable medical guidelines and protocols.
- Calmly and professionally responds to calls for emergency medical assistance and public safety issues within assigned venue, deployment, or event area.
- Coordinates and arranges emergent and non-emergent transport for patients to higher level of care.
- Communicate effectively with venue or event staff and other local officials to provide critical information.
- Utilize medical equipment and procedures as required to provide appropriate and high-quality patient care.
- Properly generate and submit all required response and patient care documentation.
- Properly maintain all issued uniforms and response gear and utilize all personal protective equipment.
- Keep current on all required state certifications / licenses.
- Monitor and maintain the condition of ambulances and medical gear, ensuring that all supplies and equipment are in-date and in proper working order.
- Follow all policies and procedures and ensure compliance with all established report times.
- Maintain prompt and regular attendance.
- Communicates public health / safety issues to venue staff and internal management.
- Emergency Medical Technician training and certification as required by County to which assigned
- At least 21 years of age
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS/CPR) certification for all EMT level
- FEMA ICS 100,200,700 and 800
- Emergency vehicle operation knowledge
- Thorough knowledge of medical supplies and equipment contained in the vehicle
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to employ discretion and confidentiality in sensitive areas
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow instructions
- Ability to perform the essential job functions
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Valid Washington State or Oregon Driver's License
- Acceptable driving
- Oregon State EMT card.
