IMMEDIATE HIRING! Dispatcher FULL-TIME Career Opportunity

We’re hiring Dispatchers who will respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for ambulance and transportation services. This person assigns and routes transportation requests and can provide clear communication in all situations to ensure quality support and care to our customers. The candidates for this position must be able to work under pressure and remain calm. A higher-than-average attention to detail is required while being responsible for demonstrating competencies in operating all radios, information systems, and any related equipment associated with the Communications Center.

Responsibilities

• Dispatchers will proficiently monitor and respond to calls and emails using established call handling time leveraging the communication and information management system to deliver excellent customer support to providers, facilities, and member representatives.
• Use appropriate methods to schedule, assign, review, and route transportation requests.
• Clearly document communications following protocols and processes and properly identify and escalate issues as necessary.
• Effectively communicate trip data including confirmations, routing time, issues, and performance.
• Dispatchers will work collaboratively and professionally with all allied health and public safety personnel and your coworkers.
• Successful Dispatchers will demonstrate organization, multitasking, and time management skills.
  
  

Minimum Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Minimum 2 years experience in a dispatching work environment or two years of work experience as an EMT or Paramedic in a 911 or hospital environment or minimum 2 years of customer service experience or dispatching in a non-911 environment.
• Ability to remain calm during highly stressful situations
• Ability to adapt and respond appropriately to evolving work demands
  
  

Qualifications

• Emergency Medical Dispatch certification preferred (not required)
• Proficient in any industry-accepted dispatch software.
• Strong customer service skills with a high level of professionalism
