We’re hiring Flight Operations Transport Specialists that will transport and deliver high-quality customer service to patients.
This position works a 24-hour shift.
Responsibilities
- Transport/drive flight crews from local airports in Wichita, KS to hospitals in the surrounding area.
- Utilize maps to locate hospitals, medical facilities, and patient home addresses.
- Ability to use standard radio codes to communicate with the communications center.
- Complete daily trip sheet recording transport activity.
- Ensure company vehicle is maintained and presentable.
- Responsible for completing mechanical checklist for vehicle at the start of each shift.
- Communicate mechanical problems to fleet department if/when vehicle is not in working order.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations, all company policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
- Know and follow information systems security policies and procedures.
- Other duties as defined by the formal job description.
