Job Description – Inside Sales Representative
Job Responsibility: Take care of the customer. Manage and develop customer relationships, ensure customer requirements are satisfied utilizing phone, email, and/or over the counter sales. Implement market strategies, as directed, with customer base. Communicate effectively between customers, team and management.
1. Maintain relationships and generate new business, while maintaining current customer base.
2. Manage customer fulfillment process from inquiry through payment.
3. Assist buyer to procure and source material as needed.
4. Analyze current inventory and communicate effectively with purchasing and sales team.
5. Work with vendors to validate that customer requirements are met (Leadtime, grade/specification, sizes, etc.).
6. Perform additional duties as directed by management.
Skills/Qualifications:
· Knowledge of types/grades/shapes of metal material is a must
· Prior experience with B2B sales and customer relations
· Ability to effectively communicate, negotiate, and manage difficult customer situations
· Excellent data entry, time management and organizational skills required
· Experience using CRM tool is desirable
· Problem solving – ability to adapt to any problems or delays that may arise
· Must be proficient in MS Office (mostly Excel and Word)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
