Whitby School is a thriving, well-established 18 months-grade 8 school on a beautiful campus in Greenwich, CT. The school seeks a dynamic, Montessori-trained leader to oversee the full program and personnel of the Children’s House, which serves Whitby’s youngest learners, age 18 months through Kindergarten. The Whitby Montessori Children’s House is at full enrollment with 175 students and 40 faculty in ten classrooms, but has expanded and has room to grow.
The Head of Children’s House reports to Whitby’s Head of School and works closely with the Lower School and Middle School Section Heads.
Successful candidates will have deep knowledge of and passion for Montessori education, experience supervising and supporting faculty, and an affinity for working closely with children and their parents. Early childhood experience is highly desirable.
