ESSENTIAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE :
Within the first 30-90 days :
Travels with the President to visit customers, gaining firsthand experience in client interactions & relationship management.
Begins hosting customer visits by preparing & delivering presentations, providing guided tours, and addressing questions to ensure a comprehensive & engaging experience.
Takes responsibility for 50% of the tasks and activities involved in managing an assigned key account, with direct oversight from the President, while continuing to shadow the President on the remaining 50% of the account management activities.
4-6 months and ongoing :
Takes responsibility for 75% of the tasks and activities involved in managing an assigned key account, with direct oversight from the President, while continuing to shadow the President on the remaining 15% of the account management activities.
By the 6-month mark, is fully independent in the role and is managing 1 new project within an assigned key account while identifying 3 other project opportunities within the assigned key account.
7-12 months and ongoing :
Takes a strategic view of key customer needs, initiates discussions with the President on structuring the business to address future opportunities and grows an assigned key account through long-term relationship development and identifying new business avenues.
Drives internal actions to ensure resources and processes are aligned to meet key account needs and makes recommendations for process, product, or service changes to better support future customers and enhance key customer experiences.
Obtains another new project from an assigned key account through thoughtful partnership and active listening to continue to obtain new business.
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE :
5 years of progressive working experience within a component manufacturing environment or related industry such as medical, aerospace, or machining
required
with the last 2 years being in an Application Project Engineer or similar role
required
Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
required
Project management experience with the ability to oversee and coordinate multiple tasks, manage timelines, and collaborate across teams to deliver successful outcomes
required
Proficient in CAD, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT), and print reading to interpret technical drawings, design specifications, and communicate with engineering teams
required
Demonstrated ability to interact directly with customers to gather requirements, explain technical concepts, and manage expectations
required

The compensation range is $150,000 - $250,000 annually, commensurate with experience level and skillset
