What You'll Do
- Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle life and annuity claims
- Analyze coverage, make contacts, investigate facts surrounding the claim, arrange for necessary documentation and third-party verifications
- Negotiate settlements and determine the appropriate claim decision based on the review of facts
- Promote, build, and maintain strong customer relationships while expediting claims and adhering to fair claims settlement practices
- Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations and requirements, provisions of policy contracts, and company standards
- Work experience in any of the following areas: Insurance, Healthcare, Clerical/Office, Investigation, Legal/Paralegal, Law enforcement, Processing, Customer service, and Call center
- Experience with life insurance and annuity claims preferred, but not required
