What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pension Risk Transfer Pricing - Actuarial Analyst I position at American National?
We are seeking an Actuarial Analyst I, for our PRT Pricing team. This position is an on-site, entry-level actuarial opportunity. In this position you will support the core actuarial function of the Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) Pricing team and help us continue to scale American National's PRT product after a market-leading launch. Significant management review and development will be incorporated in the essential functions below.

What You'll Do
Applies fundamental actuarial principles to effectively:
- Execute premium true-up processes promptly and accurately.
- Refresh pricing asset database daily.
- Manage pricing team dashboards and KPI reporting.
- Support deal specific processes related to liability runs and management reporting.
- Collaborate with valuation regarding new deals and post-win tracking.
- Prepares for and progresses in the SOA examinations through on-the-job and home study.
- A bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field with a strong mathematical background is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to pursuing the actuarial profession.
- Completion of one SOA exam (preferably FM).
- Microsoft Suite experience.
- Python experience.
