Whats The Gig?Were hiring Night ShiftOperator to monitor and adjust processing parameters for crushing soybeans and producing a wide variety of specialty edible oils including Organic Soy, NGMO Soy, Sunflower, and Canola.

Whats The Pay/Benefits?Pay ranges from $22/hour to $25/hour, based on experience in mechanical abilities, troubleshooting, industrial production background . ADDITIONAL $5/HR FOR ANY HOURS WORKED ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY!! Benefits include medical insurance for employees working 30 hours, flexible benefits plan, IRA, Paid Holidays, PTO, and more!

Responsibilities:

• Implement the established preventative maintenance program for physical plant machinery and equipment, the physical plant itself, utilities, and grounds to ensure safe and efficient operation in accordance with state, federal, and company policies and procedures, including, but not limited to the following tasks:
• Inspects, tests, adjusts, repairs, and maintains all physical plant machinery including heating, cooling, piping, and electrical systems.
• Assist in construction and repair of building facilities.
• Assist in a maintenance parts inventory system; replace small parts as needed. Provide periodic inventory reports to management.
• Implement a thorough housekeeping program for the maintenance area, including washing, cleaning, and maintaining tools and equipment in accordance with established procedures.
• Assist in snow/ice removal from walkways and drives during winter months.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and implement needed repairs as they occur in areas of plumbing, electrical, mechanical and vehicle breakdown. Notify appropriate supervisory staff of problems beyond the scope of internal repairs.
• Operate the Presses
• Monitoring gauges
• Operating hand wrenches, operating augers
• Clean equipment (following SSOP procedures)
• Flush/Clean system (following recommended procedures)
• Operating Crush and Grain depts.
• Take samples of finished products
• Operate electric and pneumatic pumps
• Hook up pipes, hoses, and couplings
• Operating hand wrenches
• Change filter banks (following recommended procedures)
• In process testing (following procedures)
• Flush/Clean system (following recommended procedures)
• Other items of responsibility
• Assists with production schedule
• Train new employees in all aspects of their job relating to production and current employees on the use of all equipment/machinery related to production.
• Perform regular maintenance procedures to the equipment/machinery used in the production area.
  

Education:

What Do I Need to Know?The knowledge to operate Boom Lifts, Tractors, Semis CDL is a plus. Also, having mechanical knowledge of pumps, valves, and steam systems is a plus.
