Position Title: Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM (flexibility required including weekends)
Pay: Salary Bonus, DOE
Position Summary:
American Neurospine Institute seeks an energetic advanced practice provider for the Neurosurgery/Spine Clinic. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and intrapersonal skills required. Our advanced practice provider must have a positive attitude to obtain patient histories and perform physical examinations, who is a team player and keeps the clinic flow moving, order diagnostics and procedures, develop and implement treatment plans, offer counseling and education to meet patient needs and prescribe medications using appropriate professional clinical judgement.

Responsibilities:
- Obtain patient histories and perform physical examinations
- Order and/or perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Formulate working diagnoses
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Offer counseling and education to meet patient needs
- Sign or complete a prescription drug order
- Inpatient duties as approved
- Assist in surgical procedures in the operative room
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient records
- Uphold the positive reputation of our medical office by always treating visitors in a friendly, welcoming, and compassionate manner
- Obtain preauthorization for appointments, testing, and procedures
- Arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services
- Follow up with patients with phone calls, coordinate referrals and care
- Communicate test results to patients when directed by physicians
- Complete necessary disability and health insurance paperwork for patients
- Schedule and coordinate surgery for patients with the hospital, anesthesia, monitoring company, and instrument company
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: 1-2 years of experience in Neurosurgery/spine preferred.
- High school Diploma or GED
- Certification from an accredited Advanced Practice Provider program
- Current state license as an Advanced Practice Provider in practicing state
- BLS Certification
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively
- Ability to multi-task, problem solve and apply common sense

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
