What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator - Elastics Operator - 3rd Shift position at American Orthodontics Corp?
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ability to visually inspect for non-conforming material on a moving conveyor
- Ability to multi-task running multiple automated packaging machines and/or automated feed presses at one time
- Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Trouble shooting ability and mechanical inclination a plus
- Experience with calipers, micrometers, toolmakers microscope
- 2 years' experience in direct manufacturing
- Must have basic computer, math and reading skills
- Must be able to sit/stand/walk for up to 8 to 10 hours per day
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
- Must be able to tolerate continual motion with hands and fingers/exceptional finger dexterity
