We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and qualified Physical Therapy Aide to join our outpatient orthopedic team in Vineland, NJ. This position offers the opportunity to work with patients of various orthopedic injuries in a dynamic environment. Core responsibilities include :
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Instructs, motivates, safeguards, and assists patients as they practice exercises or functional activities
- Transports patients to and from treatment areas, lifting and transferring them according to positioning requirements. Secures patients into or onto therapy equipment.
- Monitors operation of equipment and records use of equipment
- Assists physical therapists in delivering patient care and rehabilitation programs.
- Helps patients with exercises and mobility tasks, ensuring they are following treatment plans.
- Provides excellent customer service to patients during their therapy sessions.
- Effectively communicates with a diverse patient population, assisting with any needs or concerns.
- Monitors patients’ progress and provide feedback to therapists.
