Job Overview
American Outdoor Services ia seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Care Specialist to join our team. This role involves maintaining the health and appearance of residential and commercial lawns. The Lawn Care Specialist will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Duties
- Perform regular lawn care maintenance, including fertilizing, bed maintenance, mosquito control, aerating, and seeding.
- Operate various lawn care equipment and tools safely and efficiently. (Z-sprays, Back pack sprayers, push spreaders)
- Provide snow plowing services during winter months to maintain safe access for clients.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is properly stored after use.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their lawn care needs and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in lawn care is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to operate landscaping equipment effectively.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of groundskeeping practices to maintain outdoor spaces effectively.
- Familiarity with snow plowing techniques is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients professionally.
- A valid driver's license is required for transportation to job sites.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
