What You’ll Do:
- Analyze project documents and bid specifications to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Determine the correct labor types, materials, and time requirements to create comprehensive project proposals.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies through diligent research and collaboration.
- Prepare and present detailed cost estimates, including both numerical data and written summaries.
- Maintain and update cost databases, tracking trends and historical data for future estimates.
- Stay current on industry trends through educational opportunities and technical publications.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project planning and execution.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in commercial construction estimating
- Advanced skill with Microsoft Excel / Word and ERP packages like QuickBooks or NetSuite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Ability to organize deliverables for several concurrent projects
Required Skills:
- Must be able to read and interpret construction drawings & documents
- Excellent math / computational skills
- Able to review and respond to large volumes of emails / phone calls daily
- Exhibits excellent communication skills (written & verbal) and is comfortable with professional correspondence with customers and suppliers

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent industry work experience
